Prepare the mission.
Structure the work order, permitted actions, site context and completion criteria. Surface missing information before the team travels.
MOBILE WORK / CONNECTED INTELLIGENCE
Give every mission a capable companion.
Turn a job brief into a clear next step. Bring approved knowledge to the people doing the work, reduce repetitive administration and keep the right person in control of the outcome.
THE WORKFORCE / MORE CONNECTED, LESS FRAGMENTED
Structure the work order, permitted actions, site context and completion criteria. Surface missing information before the team travels.
Retrieve approved instructions, equipment information and previous authorised records. Keep sources and escalation routes close to the task.
Design consented notes and evidence capture around the job. An agent can be scoped to draft a report; the person confirms the record.
Review exceptions, proposed updates and the next owner. Write to a business system only through an approved integration and permission.
INTERACTIVE / MISSION PLANNER
Explore a bounded agent workflow for a field task. This fixed-rule planner runs in your browser. It does not access a location, camera, work-order system or AI service.
DESIGN FOR THE REAL WORLD
A mobile workflow crosses devices, networks, people and systems. Design each boundary deliberately, including the moments when a connection disappears or an answer cannot be trusted.
Assess coverage, access, secure connectivity and application behaviour. Where offline work is needed, explicitly design local storage, synchronisation and conflict handling.
Compare approved device, local, private and cloud processing. Restricted data remains within its approved boundary; a cloud connection does not grant permission to send it.
Separate reading, drafting, approval and writing. A safety decision, charge, permission change or customer commitment requires the appropriate authorised person.
THE iDESTA THREAD
The legacy iDesta.com website presents iDesta Remote Control: configurable field-worker forms, less paper and repeated entry, and connections to back-office processes. This new UK site explores the next question: how can people working away from a desk be supported by bounded agents, relevant context and accountable workflows?
It is a modern project proposition, rather than a claim that the legacy product already includes the agentic features described here.
Read the connection and approach →ONE USEFUL PILOT / BEFORE YOU SCALE
Choose one task and record effort, waiting, quality and rework.
Agree sources, device behaviour, integrations and permissions.
Test normal work, uncertainty, missing data and loss of connection.
Measure practical value and corrections with the people using it.
YOUR AGENTIC WORKFORCE
Tell us who does the work, where it happens, which systems are involved and what a better outcome would look like. We’ll review the scope of a practical pilot.
A general outline is enough. Do not send passwords, customer records, exact worker locations or confidential documents.
